The Best of Tess is a book that sprang from the heart of Mr. Riddle as a memorial to his wife Tess Riddle. But it is more than a memorial. It is a testament to how God works in individual lives, sometimes preparing them for the unknown. God used Tess’s sickness and eventual death to prepare the author for the days of loneliness, and loss that Mr. Riddle would experience. But that experience changed his life and direction unto a path that God had already laid out for him. A path he is still exploring.
Similarly, Hurricane Ian Winds of Providence & Provision tells how God provided for the Sheppard family who were preparing for a hurricane, not for the flash flood the hurricane caused. They had no knowledge or awareness that they were about to suffer such loss. They had done all that man could do to prepare for the hurricane. They had every reason to be confident until struck by the flash flood.
Throughout the storm and its aftermath God gave the Sheppard family protection and provision. Their story is inspirational and demonstrates how wonderful a God our God is!
