Description
Jacob and Esau are twins by birth, but it stops there! In the womb the twins struggle against one another causing their mother to seek God. But the struggle doesn’t stop when they are born. Their goals, lives, and methods are like day and night. One follows God and the other seeks the pleasures of the world. At his mother’s bidding, Jacob deceives his father into thinking he is Esau. Thereby he gains the Blessing that is handed down father to son. It is God’s blessing upon his life, a blessing of power, riches, and influence. But will it also tear the family apart? An incredible look into the life of Jacob!
In many ways Jacob reflects our own lives. His life reveals Roman’s 7:18, “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.” Like his brother Esau he faces this problem but in the end he is trusting God. This novel brings to life his struggles and his faith and sets the basis for the next book which is the World of Joseph.
